We kick off our annual roundup of the best graphic designs of 2021–2022 with the logo design and visual identity development for the Pride of Africa project.
This project stands out for seamlessly blending several 2022 graphic design trends.
The aim was to shine a light on the social and legal discrimination faced by LGBTQ+ people across Africa, elevating the brand’s relevance and impact far beyond Johannesburg Pride.

NEWS ROAD SCHOOL
Graphic design by the creative and communications studio Distinc
New Roads School, an independent K–12 school in Santa Monica, serves the West Los Angeles community. With the arrival of a new head of school, they decided to create a completely new corporate and visual identity that would reflect the diversity of the school community.
