To wrap up this week’s series of posts, I’m sharing a truly fascinating course: Interior Design for Restaurants.
A space that captures your heart is one you’ll want to return to again and again.
Ana Hernández, Creative Director at the Valencia-based interior design studio Masquespacio, will guide you through her process for creating a restaurant—from initial market research to the layout of tables and chairs.
You’ll discover what a “lovemark” or cult brand is, the key factors that define it, and how to incorporate these elements into your restaurant’s design.
All Domestika courses are designed to combine theory and hands-on practice.
The main project in the Interior Design for Restaurants Course is to design a 100-square-meter restaurant, following Masquespacio’s methodology.
You’ll need some design knowledge or, at the very least, a passion for the field.
Ana and her team use Photoshop to create their restaurant floor plan, but you’re free to use whichever method suits you best.

The Interior Design for Restaurants Course is carefully structured to blend theory with practical application. The course outline includes:
U1: Introduction
U2: Defining the “Lovemark” Before Starting the Project
U3: Understanding the Client
U4: Layout
U5: Develop Your Restaurant
Final Project
