Back from my vacation in Bangkok, it’s time to dive back into my role as content creator and project manager at the studio. I’m dedicating this article to a new project—Code Barcelona meets New Chem.
To ease back in, I’ll start by sharing a project we’re about to launch: the design and development of a brand-new website.
Our main goal is to create a bold, contemporary design that gives the company the digital presence it truly deserves.

About New Chem
New Chem specializes in the manufacture and distribution of chemical products for water treatment, pools, and both urban and industrial wastewater.
So far, New Chem’s online presence has been modest, with a website built on a basic WordPress template.
Recognizing that a strong web presence is essential—and that their current site falls short of today’s design and development standards—New Chem has entrusted us with the future of their digital image.
The CodeBarcelona team is ready to take on this project and inject the energy needed for New Chem to claim its rightful place in the market.
Background
As you can see from their old website, which is still online, it’s a typical corporate site with standard sections introducing the company and its services.
Looking past the content, it’s clear the site is built on an outdated template, lacks responsive design, and doesn’t take advantage of modern web capabilities.
