The new FIIT educational program (Fundamental Informatics and Information Technology) is introduced with a brand identity inspired by a coat of arms, reflecting its educational focus.
The emblem is based on the French shield, divided into quarters. It features four letters and three symbols: F (Ф), depicted as an Ouroboros, symbolizing eternity and infinity—especially the cyclical nature of life, creation and destruction, life and death, constant rebirth; I (И), represented as a lightning bolt, marks the start of a revolutionary storm, illuminating darkness and symbolizing the struggle between light and dark, as well as revolutionary thought; T, referencing the Chief-Pale, Tau cross, or St. Anthony’s cross—a respected symbol among programmers and others. Named after St. Anthony the Great, the “Father of Christian Monasticism” from the 4th century, it’s considered a good luck charm and a protector of life.
This brand identity is applied across social media, web design, event branding, presentations, training manuals, brochures, and a wide range of merchandise.
