Would you like to explore spaces where graphic design takes center stage in interior environments? Stay with us and read on.
This week, we’re taking you on a tour of three unique spaces that we’re excited to share.
Each of these projects stands out for different reasons: their conceptual approach, the techniques used, communication channels, objectives, and results.
As always, I’ll use these examples to discuss the projects and share some tips for creating these gems of design and creativity.
Let’s dive into three inspiring examples of graphic design in interior spaces.

Graphic design for interiors by P06 Studio
With the main goal of unifying a network of hospitals and clinics across Portugal, P06 Studio took on the challenge and honor of designing the CUF Hospitals & Clinics chain.
The project is fascinating and has been executed with great success, as you can see in the images above.
The interior design stands out for breaking away from the typical “hotel-like” look of many clinics, instead embracing a concept that puts healthcare and well-being at the forefront.
The result is a unique design that can—and should—inspire hospitals and healthcare centers everywhere.
Noteworthy are the color palette, wayfinding systems, and choice of materials.
Tips for Graphic Design in Interior Spaces
It’s no secret that interior spaces can—and should—be conceived from a graphic design perspective right from the start.
Whatever the space, it’s essential to begin by analyzing every element that defines the project. This means paying close attention to the organization’s vision, mission, and values, and then creating a comprehensive design with a style guide that brings all these elements together.
Project Insights
P06 Studio considered every detail, even collaborating with Portuguese furniture and decor designers to create a contemporary look with clean lines and neutral tones.
Most elements are made from robust, durable materials and produced locally.
The project has received the following awards:
Our sincere congratulations to P06 Studio for their outstanding graphic design in interior spaces.

Graphic design for interiors by Studio Revolucija
This interior design project is another perfect example of graphic design integrated into a space.
The design uses primary elements—lines, planes, and colors—in a contemporary way to spark a dialogue between the space and its content.
To make this communication effective, these elements are abstractly connected to the creative identity of Zagreb Film. By adding a third dimension to two-dimensional surfaces—using CRT television screens—they clearly reference the traditional Zagreb School of Animated Film.
Tips for Graphic Design in Interior Spaces
Another tip for interior design: ensure the space becomes part of the content, but never overshadows it.
It’s crucial that the interior design adds value to the concept and never competes with the content itself. The designer’s ego should never take center stage—the project must serve its purpose.
Project Insights
Zagreb Film is a Croatian company specializing in animation, founded in 1953.
Since its inception, it has produced over 600 creative animation pieces, 600 documentaries, 800 commercials, and more than 600 educational works.
This graphic design for interiors project was awarded an EdAwards 2021.
