We’re sharing the story behind the Shido Hábitat brand identity project.
A few months ago, a young entrepreneur came to us with an idea and a lot of enthusiasm—he had something special in mind. After our first conversation, it was clear he was working on a truly interesting project. His vision was to open a youth furniture store in the heart of Sarría, one of Barcelona’s most renowned neighborhoods, but with a unique, personal touch.
The store would build on a long family tradition in the furniture industry. The goal was to blend furniture and nature, setting the business apart from the big, low-cost furniture chains that are so popular today. This was a project with real personality and character, designed for customers who know what they want and appreciate true quality.
With this in mind, we got to work—our aim was to find the perfect creative approach to reflect both the client’s personality and his business vision. The first step was to develop a visual identity and logo that would do justice to all these ideas. That’s how Shido Hábitat was born: a fusion of nature and environment. From there, we could dive deeper into developing a cohesive set of branded materials.
Staying true to the concept, we paid close attention to every detail that would define the brand. Business cards, envelopes, folders, price tags, budget CDs—every element was designed with a clear, consistent style to communicate the brand’s essence to future customers. The goal: to help turn any home into a comfortable, personal habitat that meets every need.
But we didn’t stop there—a successful business needs strong marketing and advertising. We handled ad design for a couple of local magazines, arranged personal interviews to introduce the brand, and helped showcase the new project to the community.
We also took care of the exterior signage to ensure the store stood out and didn’t fade into the background of the commercial district.
With everything in place, the final touch was to design beautiful invitations for the grand opening—the birth of a new project, turning an idea into reality.
