Chance, mistakes, play, boundaries, and freedom can all be starting points for developing your imagination and finding your own unique voice and style.
In this course, illustrator Adolfo Serra will guide you step by step through hands-on processes to experiment and unlock your creativity using manual illustration techniques. You’ll learn how to create a freeform illustrated sketchbook.
Your sketchbook will become a personal image library—organized by objects, animals, plants, characters, buildings, or any categories you choose—as well as a record of your pictorial resources, techniques, experiments, and creative processes.
This is Adolfo Serra’s second course on Domestika, following Introduction to Children’s Illustration, which focused on the world of children’s books. In this course, he broadens the scope to include techniques and processes for anyone interested in illustration and hands-on creative exploration.
