We set out to find the best logo design of the month, reviewing hundreds of references and all kinds of logos along the way. We’ve seen outstanding quality and creativity in this key element of a company’s identity.
As a cornerstone of branding, a company’s logo is one of the most challenging elements to get right—a high-level creative exercise that must capture and distill so much meaning into such a small space, and for such a long lifespan.
For this article, we’ve selected three particularly noteworthy examples. Each shares a common thread and could easily be considered among the best logo designs in recent years.

Logo design by creative studio Jianyi Design
Built in 1998, Xinghai Concert Hall is the most prestigious concert venue in Guangzhou province, renowned for its spectacular architecture.
As you can see in the logo, the design draws inspiration from the building’s architecture, distilling its essence to create one of today’s standout logos.
This logo stands out for its dynamism and its ability to encapsulate so many aspects of music and the concert hall experience.
Notice how, beyond echoing the exterior shape of the hall, the design also evokes the movement of a conductor’s baton and the sweeping curves that define a concert hall’s interior.
Tips for creating the best logo design
Before you start designing a logo, it’s crucial to gather all relevant project information as a first step.

The venue has hosted world-class musicians and ensembles, including the London Symphony Orchestra, Philadelphia Orchestra, Russian National Orchestra, Munich Philharmonic, BBC Symphony Orchestra, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Itzhak Perlman, Anne-Sophie Mutter, Lorin Maazel, Mischa Maisky, Yo-Yo Ma, Lang Lang, and Yundi Li.

In the fast-paced development of China, urban dwellers are constantly on the move, year after year, sometimes forgetting to truly connect.
WU is a coffee shop chain located in urban business districts.
The brand’s logo features a curve representing the Chinese character WU (無).
The idea is for “Wu” to become a bridge that brings people together, encouraging them to sit down and talk—even if they’ve never met before.
Tips for creating the best logo design
A successful logo is one that distills all the information gathered into a highly synthesized element—achieving the most with the least.
