With the launch of the AVATR Vision Xpectra, its first concept car, the brand needed more than just an informational website—it required a digital experience capable of expressing its vision for the future and its concept of Emotive Luxury.

The site is designed as an immersive journey, allowing users to deeply explore the vehicle’s design, technology, and philosophy. Every transition, animation, and visual choice reinforces the sense of high-end craftsmanship, where nothing is superfluous and every detail serves a clear purpose.

Client, authorship, and recognition

The project was developed by Mubien studio, with audiovisual collaboration from FutureDeluxe, for the client AVATR. The result has been internationally recognized with the Site of the Day and Developer Award at Awwwards, underscoring its excellence in both design and technical execution.

Creative direction was led by David Mubien, Younes Badi, and Marcus Chaloner, supported by a multidisciplinary team spanning UX/UI, art direction, 3D, motion graphics, and frontend development—reflecting the project’s complexity and ambition.

Visual design: luxury, contrast, and restraint

Visually, the website relies on an extremely restrained color palette, primarily featuring two hues: a deep, dark shade (#242428) and an almost ethereal soft white (#EEEDF8). This choice enhances the sense of sophistication, precision, and exclusivity, steering clear of unnecessary embellishments.

The interplay of light and dark is used narratively. Content emerges gradually, revealing the vehicle’s surfaces, lines, and volumes as if in a digital exhibition. This approach aligns perfectly with the world of contemporary luxury, where suggestion and pacing are as vital as visual impact.
