You can visit as part of Typomad 2015, held at the Central de Dise\u00f1o<\/strong> at Matadero Madrid, where you\u2019ll find a curated selection of internationally awarded typographic projects.<\/p>\n

The Central de Dise\u00f1o at Matadero Madrid<\/strong> is a Contemporary Creation Center located at Plaza de Legazpi 9, in the heart of Madrid.<\/p>\n

This space is dedicated exclusively to design in all its forms, hosting a wide variety of projects related to graphic design<\/strong>, interior design<\/strong>, and industrial design<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Matadero offers a large cultural venue for promoting design<\/strong> and sharing a diverse range of creative proposals and projects.<\/p>\n

Here, the relationship between culture and economy is explored in depth, with graphic design, product design, and spatial design<\/strong> approached from a cross-disciplinary perspective, always seeking to infuse creative value into economic activity.<\/p>\n

The center is managed by Fundaci\u00f3n Dise\u00f1o Madrid and promoted by the Madrid Designers Association (DIMAD), steadily gaining recognition both nationally and internationally.<\/p>\n

The TDC Awards are presented by the international Type Directors Club of New York, founded in 1946. Its main mission is to promote and protect the written word as expressed through typography, whether on screen or in print.<\/p>\n

Among the organization\u2019s many activities\u2014courses, workshops, and more\u2014a selection of the most outstanding typographic works is showcased, all recognized and awarded by an international jury for excellence in applied typography and typeface design.<\/p>\n
