The holidays are over, the new year has begun, and it\u2019s time to look back at what\u2019s been happening in the studio over the Christmas break.<\/p>\n

A lot went on during the holidays: we launched our new website, created a virtual Christmas card, broke into the top 10 search results for our main keywords, landed a blog post in the top 3 for several trending keywords about design trends, and added a brand new services section to our site.<\/p>\n

A quick recap<\/h2>\n

Virtual Christmas card<\/h3>\n

This holiday season, we ran a Facebook ads campaign supported by a blog post that racked up over 10,000 visits throughout November and December.<\/p>\n

The campaign promoted a tool we developed that let users create their own digital Christmas card. People could personalize the message and choose from several backgrounds we picked out for the occasion.<\/p>\n

The idea came from a blog post we published last year\u2014a roundup of original Christmas cards<\/a>\u2014which started ranking well in search engines and brought in a lot of organic traffic. That inspired us to build this little tool, which we finished in less than a day.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re also sharing a few screenshots of the cards people created. In total, over 400 cards were made!<\/p>\n

Our new website<\/h3>\n

Another big focus for us has been redesigning our own website.<\/p>\n

It was definitely time for an update, even though the previous version still held up well.<\/p>\n

It wouldn\u2019t make much sense to show you a screenshot, since you\u2019re already reading this post on the new site.<\/p>\n

Climbing the search rankings<\/h3>\n

After years of working on our site\u2019s SEO, we\u2019ve finally reached top positions on Google. We hope it lasts\u2014and that we climb even higher.<\/p>\n

For now, our focus is on continuously improving our website, both in design and content, with posts like…<\/p>\n

The post that\u2019s making waves<\/h3>\n

If there\u2019s one post that\u2019s exceeded all our expectations, it\u2019s our article on 2019 graphic design trends.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a trend prediction post.<\/p>\n

In less than three months, it\u2019s received over 12,000 visits\u2014and the numbers keep rising.<\/p>\n
